Executive Search
What is Executive Search?
Executive Search is the process of researching, identifying and approaching suitably skilled or experienced professionals from within the market. It provides a very focused and targeted approach to the sourcing of experienced candidates. 

When is Executive Search appropriate?
Executive Search can be the service of choice in a number of situations. For example when:-
• it is clear that the individual being sought is likely to possess a unique skill set;
• it is a very senior role and unlikely that the individuals will be registered with a recruitment agency;
• a company is looking to recruit somebody from a direct competitor;
• or, if there is a need for the assignment to be highly confidential.

Advertised Search & Selection
What is Advertised Search & Selection?
This is a combined service which utilises the power of advertising in the relevant and appropriate media, with a defined and targeted search strategy.

When is Advertised Search & Selection appropriate?
This service is appropriate when the individuals being sought are likely to come from a broader background and there are not so many restrictions placed on their experience. If the advertising campaign has been successful, it may also prove to be a slightly quicker way of generating a pool of candidates to select from. Additionally, it allows Adamson & Partners to receive direct applications from candidates in organisations where we are prevented from searching for ethical reasons.

Advertised Selection
What is Advertised Selection?
This service solely relies upon the power of advertising to generate a pool of candidates to select from. This is achieved by using a well written and enticing advert that is strategically placed in the most suitable media (on-line, trade press, national press).

When is Advertised Selection appropriate?
This service is used when it is clear that a search would not be appropriate. The range of skills, experience, knowledge that could be considered are likely to be quite broad, and we would therefore want to capture the largest pool of people to assess and select from.

Since 1985, Adamson & Partners has developed a network of executives who are open to discreetly hearing about new and interesting opportunities. This is always utilised as a part of our services.

Salary Surveys
Many of our clients are interested to know if they are keeping up with the market rate, and wish to benchmark their salary bandings after gauging the remuneration paid by the competition.
