Based in The Netherlands, the successful candidate will be entrusted with a portfolio of IP rights arising from all past and present innovations in the group’s most specialised and scientific research field Medical Nutrition.

Main duties will include invention harvesting, drafting, filing and prosecution of patent applications, the maintenance and defence of patent rights, and the provision of strategic advice to relevant stakeholders. As Danone Research actively encourages interaction between its IP, research, development and commercial functions, it is essential that applicants possess the technical understanding and commercial acumen required to forge close working relationships with relevant personnel.
Candidates will be qualified European Patent Attorneys with a good first degree in Food Sciences, Biology,
Biotechnology or another relevant subject area. As the working language of the company is English, oral and written fluency in this language are essential. Proactive and autonomous, with a good business understanding, the successful appointee will possess excellent communications and negotiations skills and a strong ability to work in transversal teams in a cross-sectional environment.
