Omnicare Clinical Research Inc is a well-established Clinical Research Organisation (CRO), headquartered in King of Prussia, PA in the United States. It is a leading Phase I-IV contract research organisation serving the Biopharma and medical device industries. Like many CROs they possess diverse therapeutic expertise and a comprehensive range of clinical services. It is a global company with offices located in 32 countries and is currently celebrating its 25 year anniversary.
Two regions of key importance to their growth as a business are Southern Europe and Germany and it has been decided to appoint a new, experienced Senior Account Director to each of these regions. These are crucially important positions and the company is keen to find candidates prepared to commit to their unique culture: The Spirit of Omnicare.
Candidates will ideally fulfil the following requirements:
• They must have a minimum of a Bachelor degree in a scientific discipline , business subject or a related discipline;
• It is essential that candidate has a minimum of 3 years sales experience with CRO, pharma, biotech, healthcare or medical industry. Ideally, they will also possess a minimum of 5 years experience in a rival CRO and an ability to retain contact with an existing network of client companies in the specified region;
• Proven knowledge and skills in sales and use of sales/marketing tools;
• Sound knowledge of the relevant market and respective offering of CROs;
• Sound understanding of the principles of Key Account Management;
• Demonstrable knowledge in Proposals and Bid Defence presentations to sponsors;
• Strong client relationship building/interpersonal skills;
• Strong communication and influencing skills;
• Strong leadership and organisational skills;
• Advanced negotiation skills;
• Ability to work alone and in a multi-functional global team environment;
• PC knowledge
• Fluent French or German and English, oral and written;
• This is a field based position and travel will amount to approximately 50% of business time.
