The IP Department in Lund is a well-established team of patent counsels which works integrated with trademark and legal counsels on an optimised protection of all R&D activities in-house and with development partners.  The department is currently expanding and as a consequence of increased focus on Packaging Material development within the company, an opening has emerged in the Packaging Material IPR team, for a high-calibre Patent Attorney to assume responsibility for a commercially important portfolio.

The successful appointee will enjoy high level of autonomy and interesting team dynamics in dealing with a broad range of IP-related business matters including international patent applications, trade secrets, invention harvesting work, validity and infringement analysis, managing outside counsels, and handling oppositions, litigation, opinion work and, providing strategic advice to the management team and implementing intellectual property strategies worldwide.

The ideal candidate should be a qualified patent attorney who possesses an excellent educational background in Chemical Engineering, Material Sciences or a related discipline, including studies of Polymer Science and preferably also Cellulose and Paper Technology.  Patent engineers or specialists with the required technical skill sets, who are yet to obtain professional qualification, will be considered as well.
