With the sheer variety of RB products, the patent department handles an extensive range of technologies. With the ability to handle a mix of chemical and mechanical subject matter, you'll mainly be supporting our Automatic Dishwashing business, which is currently launching a range of ground-breaking new products.
As a key member of the legal team, you'll enjoy extensive responsibility and autonomy in our busy commercial environment. You'll work closely with scientists, commercial teams, and senior managers. You'll be responsible for invention harvesting, drafting and prosecuting patent applications, handling oppositions before the EPO, developing IP strategies, providing freedom to market opinions, negotiating IP agreements, licences, and managing IP litigation.

With a background in either private practice or in-house, you will preferably be UK/EQE qualified, although finalists with relevant experience will also be considered.
