Based at Novartis’ Global Headquarters in Basel, Switzerland.
The candidate will manage a laboratory with 3 technical assistants responsible to develop, validate and apply bioanalytical methods (pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic) for biologics compounds under preclinical and clinical development. He/she will be responsible for interpretation of the PK-PD data resulting from preclinical and clinical samples analyzed within the lab. In addition, the candidate will have to interact with the project teams to understand the project needs and develop the best assay strategy accordingly.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in immuno-assays (different ELISA formats, including novel methods and approaches like MSD, Immuno-PCR, etc.) and immunological tools. Furthermore, he/she will be familiar with pre- and within-study validation of bioanalytical assays according to the FDA guidelines.
Knowledge in GLP, sound statistics background for data interpretation and familiarity with automation would be of advantage. Strong soft skills including managerial skills and the ability to work in an international team are mandatory. Fluency in English is mandatory.
